Climbing mountains and treading valleys, encountering a tiger face to face. The hedgehog serves as marshal; Ban Shu flees north, escaping to the land of joy.

注释
山上有水，蹇之象。登山履谷，與虎相觸——跋山涉谷，迎面遇虎。猬為功曹——猬為功曹，以小制大。班叔奔北——某人北奔。脫之喜國——最終脫險抵達安樂之地。猬為功曹之典出《史記·龜策列傳》「猬能伏虎」。從蹇至艮，兼山艮，思不出其位。虎之兇猛非以反擊制之，而以靜止與結構性防禦——猬之棘、山之不動。蹇加深為艮：存活在於知道何時徹底停止移動，令猛獸之怒撞於不可穿透之表面而自息。
