山下出泉，蒙之象也。天福所豐，兆如飛龍——天降豐福，瑞兆如龍之飛騰。成子得志，六三以興——「成子」可解為田成子（陳恆），陳國後裔奔齊，歷八世積勢，至前三八六年正式代齊為侯。「六三」即《易》之第三爻，陰居陽位，本非正位而竟能興起。從蒙至升，地中生木：升者，積小以高大，順勢而上。田氏自微末客卿至篡奪一國，正如木之生於地中，不疾不徐而終於參天。蒙昧之初不足畏，積之以世代則可成大器。
