澤上於地,萃也。泥滓污辱,身陷汙濁;棄捐溝瀆,如廢物般被拋棄。為眾所笑,終生不得顯達。此詩無特定典故,純以汙泥、溝渠、嘲笑層層堆疊,描繪社會性羞辱之極致。從萃至履(上天下澤),本應以禮儀行於天地之間,辨上下定民志。然此處地面已被汙染,縱有謹慎之步履亦無從避穢。群聚之中一旦失勢,便如墜溝渠,眾目睽睽下備受凌辱,禮序反成嘲諷之具。
