注释
地中生木，升之象。上無飛鳥，下無走獸——天空無鳥影，地上無獸跡，大地一片蕭條死寂。擾亂未清，民勞於事——亂局未平，百姓被無止境之勞役徭役所困，疲於奔命。鳥獸俱逃乃治理敗壞之明證：連動物都不堪居留之地，人何以安？雷出地奮為豫（先王以作樂崇德），本應振奮人心、鼓舞歡樂之象。從升至豫，積小高大之升本應達於群眾歡樂之盛境，然民力已被消耗殆盡，鳥獸逃散——歡樂之條件蕩然無存，升而不得其所，樂從何來。
