注释
澤無水，困之象也。雷行相逐，無有休息——雷聲追逐不歇，如疲兵無法停步。戰于平陸，為夷所覆——出征邊地，為異族所滅。天雷不止與軍旅不休相疊：兵卒疲憊至極反招致敗亡。平陸為邊陲要地，易受外族侵擾。從困至大過（澤滅木），棟梁過載而撓曲。君子以獨立不懼、遁世無悶。結構超荷至崩潰之際，連雷聲都已力竭，唯一體面之回應是孤獨承受。體制過載須先崩壞方能重建。
