注释

澤無水,困之象也。邃氣作雲——幽深之氣凝為迷雲;蒙覆大君——遮蔽國君,使之昏昧。塞聰閉明——堵塞聽覺、封閉視覺;殷人賈傷——殷商之民受害於貿易。「殷人」直指商朝之民,以善賈著稱(「商人」一詞即源於此)。暗氣蒙君呼應殷末暴君之昏聵。從困至明夷(明入地中),君子以蒞眾用晦而明。明夷之道:當君主自身被蒙蔽時,智者須隱藏光芒以求存續,以晦養明,待時而動。
