Many hands draw water, rope-marks carved into stone. The well is deep and inexhaustible, sharing its moisture with four neighbors.

注释
木上有水，井之力在於眾人協作。此條為改寫，原詩曰：「百足俱行，相輔為強。三聖翼事，王室寵光。」百足齊行如蜈蚣之喻——眾足協調方能穩行。「三聖翼事」多解為周公、太公、召公，共輔周室草創之基業。從井至履（上天下澤），井之公共秩序與履之禮制等級相呼應：各行其位、協力同心，方能生發個體不可及之大力。百足俱行正合履之要義——眾人各踏其正道而行。
