注释
木上有水，井備其養，然跛者不能至。跛躄難步，行遲不及客舍，天色已暮而路尚遠，只得露宿澤陂，寒夜之中襦袴盡失。此象至為悲涼：井養雖在，身殘者無從汲取；救濟雖備，力不能至則同無。跛行之人既失衣物亦失尊嚴，暴露於野而無遮無護。從井至蒙（山下出泉），泉出山下而不知所往。井以轆轤繩桶引水而上，蒙則懵懂無知，跌跌撞撞而行。無備而行者終遭其殃，井之養唯能及者方能受之。
