木上有水，井養四方。大夫行父無地不涉，遍歷山川以為吾相土——行父或為魯國臧氏之大夫，奉命勘察天下地形以擇定居之所。古之「相土」即堪輿擇地之術，觀山水形勢以定吉凶。遍訪之後言：莫如韓樂，可以居止，長安富有——此地水土俱佳，宜於久居。從井至需（雲上於天），需為雲蒸天上、待時而動。大夫遍訪乃至得其所，正合需卦「君子以飲食宴樂」之象：耐心等候，佳地自現，安居之福水到渠成。
