九五 大人虎變。未占有孚。
Nine in the fifth place means: The great man changes like a tiger. Even before he questions the oracle He is believed.

澤中有火，革之象也。鴟鴞破斧，沖人危殆。賴旦忠德，轉禍為福，傾危復立。澤上有雷，歸妹之象也。鴟鴞——《詩經·豳風·鴟鴞》，周公向成王自辯之詩。破斧——《豳風·破斧》，頌周公東征平管蔡之亂。鴟鴞侵巢、戰斧折斷，國家危在旦夕。幸賴周公旦之忠德，力挽狂瀾，轉禍為福，傾危者復得自立。從革至歸妹，以卑位之忠誠拯救全局——如妹從姊之位雖卑，然關鍵時刻正是此不起眼之角色扭轉乾坤。
