兼山為艮，七竅龍身造易八元——以龍之靈體演化八卦。法則天地，順時施恩，利以長存。七竅或喻聖人之靈覺，八元或指八卦或上古八賢。可解作伏羲觀天察地而畫卦之傳說。從艮至蠱（山下有風），山上風下，振動停滯以求更新。詩呈宇宙初創之序化——自絕對之靜中，聖人辨識天地之紋理，革除腐朽，使萬物長久。創造本身始於靜觀。
