澤上有雷為歸妹，天地交為泰。外得好畜，佳偶以配，仁賢集聚，諮詢厥事，一派和樂。然形勢驟變：傾城奪邑，使家不寧，禍從繁盛中來。泰之繁榮本含隱患——開放通泰之際亦引覬覦之心。從歸妹至泰，本為天地交通、上下和諧之象，然詩示和平之脆弱：才賢畢集、財富彰顯之際，正是外敵窺伺之時。泰極則否，盛而不防則失，歸妹「永終知敝」之訓，於此尤為切要。
