注释
澤上有雷為歸妹，木上有火為鼎。夏麥麩䵃，霜擊其芒；疾君敗國，使年夭傷。夏麥未熟即覆麩皮，霜打麥芒，顆粒無收。昏君如霜，催折生民之命。從歸妹至鼎，木上有火，鼎烹之象。鼎「君子以正位凝命」，以正道煉化萬物。然此詩中鼎之主人非賢主而是病君——所煉者皆敗壞，所養者皆夭折。鼎之功在於正位凝命，位不正則鼎毀食傾。
