Fire burns the lord's bed; the household is shattered and destroyed. Yet in the end, peace and prosperity are found; first comes grief and heavy mourning.

澤上有雷為歸妹，火在水上為未濟。火燒公床，破家滅亡。然得安昌，先憂重喪。火焚公侯之床，家破人亡——毀滅似已徹底。然竟得安寧昌盛，只是先經重重悲喪。從歸妹至未濟，火在水上，各趨本位而未至。未濟「慎辨物居方」，萬事尚未完成。此詩體現未濟之悖論：毀滅中孕新生，灰燼下藏轉機。歸妹六十四卦之旅以此終結——懸於災難與希望之間，渡河尚未完成，一切仍在行進之中。
