Three rams and five goats follow each other walking. Lost, they enter an empty marsh; the valley leads north. Passing through, they encounter six leopards and are wounded by the predators.

注释
麗澤兌，歡悅之象。三羖五羊相隨俱行，迷入空澤，循谷宜北。經涉六駁，為所傷賊。羊群結伴而行卻迷入荒澤，沿谷北行又遭猛獸傷害。從兌至遯（天下有山），歡悅化為退避之象。遯卦「遠小人，不惡而嚴」——退避需有方向。然此處羊群迷途入澤，退而無方，終為所傷。遯之義在於知所退而退得乾淨，若退入險地則非退而是潰。
