澤上有風，中孚之信。日月運行，一寒一暑——天道循環，無可逃避。榮寵赫赫，不可得保——恩寵雖盛，不能久持。顛躓殞墜，更為士伍——跌落谷底，淪為卒伍。詩寫政治命運之弧線：由顯赫至零落，如四時之必然。從中孚至晉（明出地上），誠信遇日出地上之進。然詩反讀其象：日之高升亦將西沉。寒暑交替提醒：進只是大循環之一段，升者必降，盛者必衰。
