The mayfly's thin wings — flying at dawn, spent by dusk. Never knowing frost or snow, how could it know the seasons?

注释
火在水上，未濟之象，萬物尚未歸位。原詩言「旦生夕死，名曰嬰鬼，不可得視」——朝生暮亡之物，名為嬰鬼，倏忽而逝，不可目睹。此即蜉蝣之喻：生命短暫至不識霜雪，遑論春秋寒暑之更迭。從未濟至乾（天行健），轉化極為鮮明——最短促之生命對應最恆久之剛健。不能自持一日者，與天之自強不息形成絕對反差。此詩警示：若無乾之生生不已之力，再璀璨之光亦不過曇花一現。
