注释
火在水上，未濟之塞。樹蔽牡荊——喬木遮蔽荊棘。生蘙山旁——叢生於山側，遮天蔽日。仇敵背憎——仇讎彼此背向而懷恨。孰肯相迎——誰願意主動迎接對方？牡荊本為自律清苦之象，今為叢木所沒。從未濟至姤（天下有風），火水之隔化為風行天下之不期而遇。姤為一陰潛入五陽之卦——不速之客，防不勝防。當仇恨已入骨髓，任何相遇皆被疑為伏擊而非會面。姤之后以施命誥四方，然此詩中無人肯聽。
