Herding sheep by the rice fields; hearing the tiger's joyful roar. Fearful and trembling with dread; yet in the end no harm befalls.

注释
火在水上，未濟之錯位。牧羊稻園——於稻田中牧羊，場景已錯。聞虎喧歡——忽聞虎嘯。懼畏悚息——驚恐屏息，不敢動彈。終无禍患——最終平安無事。牧羊者在不該在之地，虎在不該出之處——一切錯位，恰為未濟之本色。從未濟至小過（山上有雷），火水化為雷在山上之象。小過為行過乎恭、喪過乎哀、用過乎儉之卦——小事上的過度謹慎。牧人驚恐伏地而倖存——小者在大力經過時伏低即可——以過度之卑謙求存，此小過之道。
