注释
地上有水，比也，本應親近相守。然季去我東——至親東行遠去。髮櫛如蓬——發如蓬草散亂，無心梳理。展轉空床，內懷憂傷——輾轉空牀，滿腔愁思。「季」可指幼弟或夫君，兼有親情與愛意。蓬髮不眠之象出自《詩經》思婦傳統。從比至復（雷在地中），冬至之雷伏於地下，一陽初動，承諾離去者終將歸來。詩之哀痛真切，然復之天道昭示：分離非永恆，東行者必返。
