注释
地上有水，比也，潤養生命。然此詩寫身體之衰敗。精神消落——神氣流散。形骸醜惡——軀體醜陋。齬齚頓挫——齒牙錯落磕絆。枯槁腐蠹——乾枯朽爛，蟲蛀其中。全詩為老衰之直書——曾經完整之軀體如今瓦解。從比至既濟（水在火上），水火相交似已圓滿，然卦辭戒曰「思患而豫防之」。既濟之完成永在崩潰邊緣。詩體現此臨界：一切曾經運作之物今皆朽壞——完成之生命傾向其消亡。
