東山西岳，會合俱食。百家送從，以成恩福。乾至恆，雷風，恆之象也。君子以立不易方。東西之山相聚共宴，百家護送成禮。恆為持久不變之卦，此詩所寫正是持久之物：非山之石而是人之禮——迎送宴聚、恩施福報之日復一日的踐行。天之創造力化為雷風並行之恆常，東西交會非偶然而是年年歲歲之慣例。真正持久者非剛強之勢，乃世代相傳之禮俗與人情。
