中夜犬吠，盜在牆外。然神明祐助，賊散皆去。乾至比，地上有水，比之象也。先王以建萬國、親諸侯。犬為忠誠之守衛，神明之護佑象徵群體之信任與團結。盜賊散去非因一家獨強，乃因鄰里相親、守望相助——此即「比」之本義。天之創造力化為地上之水，水隨地勢而聚合，眾人因信而凝聚，個體之脆弱遂轉化為集體之安全。
