焦氏易林
麟鳳相隨，觀察安危；東郭聖人，后稷周公；共和政令，君子攸同；利以居止，長無憂凶。
Qilin and phoenix follow together, observing what is safe and what is perilous. The sage east of the outer wall, Hou Ji and the Duke of Zhou -- together they harmonize governance, and noble men find common cause. Advantageous for settling down; long free from worry and misfortune.

上天下澤，祥瑞同行。麟鳳相隨，觀察安危。東郭聖人與后稷、周公並列——三位文明之基。共和政令，君子攸同，利以居止，長無憂凶。從履至晉，明出地上：行止合道、聖賢為師，則德行光明如日出於地。從謹慎之履到坦然之進，此即承諾之兌現：賢者當政則光華自然煥發。后稷立農本，周公制禮樂，政令以德而非以力，故萬邦歸心。
