上天下澤，命止車以合兩家。蛾眉皓齒之美人居中，二國因婚姻而結盟。此為古代和親之制：以聯姻締結政治同盟，美人為兩國善意之象徵。從履至益，風雷相益：正確之外交行止使力量倍增。兩家合宜相配則雙方皆得其利。婚車之停非因力弱，乃因禮制使結盟成為可能。見善則遷，有過則改——益之道在於合作共進。
