天地交泰，然兵役無盡而和平瓦解。「陟岵望母」直引《詩經·魏風·陟岵》：征夫登山遙望家鄉，思念母親。「役事未已，王政無盬」——徭役不休，王事無盡，家人不得相保。此詩之悲非一人之私，乃制度之痛：國家不斷徵發，骨肉離散。從泰至否（天地不交），泰之交通斷絕為否之隔絕。上下不交，陰陽離析——征夫望母而不可歸，正是天地不交之人間寫照。
