病貧望幸，使伯行販；開牢擇羊，多得大牂。
Sick and poor, hoping for luck; one sends the elder to trade. Opening the pen to choose a sheep, he gains many fine ewes.

注释
天地不交之否，病貧望幸——貧病交加而盼望幸運。使伯行販——遣長兄外出經商。開牢擇羊，多得大牂——開欄選羊，竟得許多好母羊。從否至坎（水洊至），否之閉塞遇坎之重險。然詩寫出人意料之實際復甦：絕望驅人經商，經商反獲豐收。滿欄母羊化匱乏為富足。坎之道在於「有孚維心亨」——以誠信穿越險境，即使四面危殆亦當有為。遣兄行商正是此義：困厄中之務實行動，非消極等待而是主動求變，報償切實而豐厚。
