齎貝贖狸，不聽我辭；繫於虎髯，牽不得來。
Offering cowries to ransom the wildcat; it will not heed my words. Tied to the tiger's whiskers; pull as one might, it will not come.

注释
天地不交之否，齎貝贖狸——以貝殼贖買野貓，不聽我辭——無人理會。繫於虎髯——貓繫在虎之鬚上，牽不得來——怎麼拉也拉不回。從否至革（澤中有火），否之閉塞遇革之變革。革為水火不容而須改制之卦。然詩寫變革之前提：舊有之交易手段全然失效。以貝殼贖貓，價值錯位；貓繫虎鬚，常力不可取。革之所以必要，正因常規之交換已徹底崩潰——愈拉愈緊，舊法愈用愈窮。虎鬚不讓於貝殼——唯有根本之變革方能解此死結。
