注释
地中有山，狗無前足——殘缺之犬，喻不稱其位者。陰謀叛背——暗中策劃背叛。為身害賊——害人者終自害。殘疾之物不甘安分反生陰謀，缺陷化為險惡之源。從謙至鼎（木上有火），文明之器，正位凝命。然此詩呈鼎之反面：將重器託付根本無力者（無前足之犬），本應烹調轉化者反滋生陰謀。鼎需其人得其位；無足之物不能承鼎，挫折化為破壞。謙若無能力為底，不生謙遜反生怨毒。
