注释
澤中有雷，明德隱伏——光明之德已深藏不露。麟鳳遠匿——麒麟與鳳凰遠遁——此二者唯聖世方現，其隱匿即天意之警示。周室傾側，不知所息——周王室搖搖欲墜，無所安歇。此詩哀一個喪失道德準繩之世：瑞獸退藏，天命已轉。麟之遠遁呼應孔子西狩獲麟之泣。從隨至歸妹（澤上有雷），歸妹之雷動於澤上，嫁出之女不可復歸——不可逆之過渡。周室之傾如歸妹之嫁，為單向之門檻：已逝者不可追回。
