澤上有雷為歸妹，澤中有雷為隨。隄防壞決，河水放逸奔流不止；傷害稼穡，田禾盡毀，居者孤獨棲宿，洪水沒溺我邑。堤壩一潰，洪水肆虐，莊稼覆沒，獨居之人被大水吞噬。從歸妹至隨，本應順時而動、嚮晦入宴息。然所隨者若是潰堤之水，則順從即是滅頂之災。隨卦之要在擇所隨：隨正道則安穩，隨洪流則溺亡。此詩警示盲從之禍——不辨方向而隨波逐流者，終為所溺。
