山下有風，蠱毒滋生。長舌亂家——讒言如長舌蛇，破壞家室；大斧破車——暴力毀器，制度崩裂。陽陰不得——陰陽失調，不相協和；姬姜衰憂——姬、姜二姓為周代封建之兩大宗族，今同陷憂患。「長舌」呼應《詩經·大雅·瞻卬》之諷讒詩。從蠱至訟（天與水違行），腐敗不治終至公開衝突：山下鬱積之風化為天水相背之勢，訟爭四起，曾經維繫天下之聯盟遂告瓦解。
