澤上有地，臨之守備。執戈俱立——持戈共立；以備暴急——以防暴亂突發。千人守門——千人守衛城門；因以益卑——因此更加謙卑。終安何畏——最終安定，有何可畏？悖論醒目：大規模之防備不生驕矜反增謙遜。千人之戍衛不逞威風，其紀律本身培養了確保安全之謙下。從臨至中孚（澤上有風），長者之權威轉化為如風行水上般滲透之信任。守衛之戒備所創造的和平，非以威嚇，而以真正有備之內在誠信——紀律嚴明之守望使忠信可見。
