地勢坤，厚德載物。六龍爭極，服在下飾——六龍爭於窮極，屈居下位而為飾。謹慎管鑰，結禁毋出——謹守門鎖，嚴禁外出。從坤至否（天地不交），大地之承載化為封閉之隔絕。否者，天地不交而萬物不通。六龍本為乾之六陽，爭至極則窮，窮則屈服。此時唯有閉守為上策：管好鑰匙，繫緊繩結，切勿妄動。坤之順德在否之世化為隱忍之智——君子以儉德辟難，不可榮以祿。不出門戶，正是否時自保之道。
