注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。初憂後喜，與福為市——先有憂慮，後有喜悅，以禍換福。八佾列陳，飲御嘉友——八佾之舞列陣排開，與嘉賓好友飲宴。八佾為天子之舞，八八六十四人。山上有雷，小過之象：君子以行過乎恭，喪過乎哀，用過乎儉。小過者，小者過也，稍逾常度。此詩從憂到喜，由小過之「過」反成超越之機：初之憂為過慎，後之喜為過慎所換得之福。從坤至小過，大地之謙退稍稍逾度——多一分恭敬、多一分謹慎——反而開啟歡慶之門。小過之妙在「小」字：微逾而不大犯。
