風行地上，觀車馬之敗。三駒不馴，破其堅車。輪載空輿，後時失期——空車遲到，約期已過。詩寫以力量付託於未經調教者之愚：少壯之馬充滿蠻力而缺駕馭，反毀所驅之車。風行天上，小畜之象：以柔風漸馴天之剛健。從觀至小畜，觀察揭示力量須循序漸進地調伏。野馬毀車，失期不可追，蓄養之功不可省略。
