風行天上，化為風行地上之觀。駕駟追狐，輪陷荊棘；車不結轍，公子無所得。從小畜至觀，柔風自天降地，以觀察審視為要。觀之象為先王省方觀民設教——巡行天下而明察民情。然此詩以魯莽追逐代替審慎觀察。狐者，狡黠善遁之物，非蠻力可擒。荊棘懲罰急躁。觀卦之教：未審而追，獵物永遠逃脫。君子觀風察俗，方能有所得；縱馬盲追，終歸落空。
