注释
電雷噬嗑，執法之威。鬼守吾廬，欲召伯去。然司命不許——天官掌生死簿籍，判曾孫壽考，與生相保。鬼被拒而退，生命得全。司命為天庭主掌壽命之神，見《楚辭·九歌》。此詩戲劇化地演出與死亡之交涉——死神敗退。從噬嗑至臨（澤上有地），仁者臨民之象。噬嗑之法官於此咬斷死亡之索命，家族在天命庇佑下延續。
