注释
山下有火，賁未能揭真相。猾醜如誠——狡詐之人偽裝真誠。前後相違——前言後語自相矛盾。言如鱉咳——說話像鱉在咳嗽。語不可知——話語無法辨識。鱉之「咳」為生動之象：模仿人語之聲而無實義。兩面人之表裡不可調和，聽者無從辨別真偽。從賁至旅，山上有火：山下之火移至山上。旅為異鄉客，須謹慎行走陌生之地。此詩警告旅人：身在異域，偽裝最為危險，鱉咳之言正是不可信者之標誌。
