山附於地為剝，澤中有雷為隨。獼猴冠帶——猴著衣冠，竊據高位。「沐猴而冠」為中國政治諷喻之經典：獸披人飾，貌似體面而實無德能。盜載非位——盜賊居於不屬其之位。眾犬共吠——群犬識破偽裝而齊聲吠叫。麇走蹶足——鹿群驚奔，跌撲絆倒。從剝至隨，正統權威剝蝕後留下真空，冒充者趁虛而入。然隨卦之精義在「隨時之義大矣哉」——追隨者須辨真偽。猴冠之主無法引領真正之追隨，只招來犬吠鹿奔之混亂。
