上九 碩果不食。君子得輿。小人剝廬。
Nine at the top means: There is a large fruit still uneaten. The superior man receives a carriage. The house of the inferior man is split apart.

焦氏易林
三人俱行，二人言北。伯仲欲南，少叔不得。中路分爭，道鬭相賊。
Three men travel together; two speak for north. The elder and second brother wish to go south; the youngest cannot prevail. Midway they quarrel; on the road they fight and wound each other.

注释
山附於地為剝，隨風為巽。三人俱行——三人同行。二人言北——二人主張北行。伯仲欲南——大哥二哥欲往南。少叔不得——最小者不得遂意。中路分爭，道鬭相賊——半路爭執互相攻擊。此為集體決策失敗之寓言：三人二向，越爭越烈。巽之重風本為反覆申命以求貫徹，此處反覆之爭論卻生出毆鬥。從剝至巽，山之剝蝕本應為風之滲透開出空間，然風遇風反成亂流。「申命行事」須有上下之分，此三人無主從之序，申命變為互毆。
