注释
山附於地為剝，風行天上為小畜。天火大起，飛鳥驚駭——自天而降之烈火，鳥雀驚散四飛。漢代以天火為隕石或雷擊之異象，皆視為上天之警示。鳥本棲於天際，卻因天象異變而無處安身。「作事不時，自為身咎」——不合時宜之舉，反害其身。從剝至小畜，山崩之力豈柔風所能約束？小畜為以柔蓄剛、以小制大，然剝壞已甚，溫文之德化不足以挽狂瀾。錯判時機者，終自食其果。
