注释
水洊至，恐慌蔓延。羊群驚懼於狼虎，獼猴結群奔走。然逃遁無益——僵凍於恐懼之中，反為齒牙所傷。此詩道出驚慌逃竄之徒勞：無策略之奔逃只將獵物更完整地送入掠食者口中。從坎至臨（澤上有地），險水當化為地臨澤上——教思無窮、容保民無疆。然此詩示臨之反面：強者臨弱者非如牧者而如猛獸，群畜之驚恐使一切逃離皆失去意義。
