注释
水洊至，曆法轉至最暗之點。南至之日——冬至——陽氣消而不息，北風烈寒徹骨。萬物藏伏，生機全隱。此詩寫宇宙之至暗：日至最弱，寒至最烈，自然全面退縮。從坎至歸妹（澤上有雷），雷動澤上——不可逆之嫁女之舉。冬至亦為不可逆之門檻：日至極端，回歸已然註定。即使全面退藏之中亦含下一次顯現之種子，然時機不可強求。永終知敝，方能守候來春。
