頭尾顛倒，不知緒處，君失其國。
Head and tail overturned; one cannot tell where the threads begin. The lord loses his kingdom.

注释
明兩作離，火入木上有水之井。頭尾顛倒——首尾錯置，秩序全亂。不知緒處——找不到頭緒。君失其國——國君因此失國。井卦之道在於秩序：汲水須循序而為，繩、桶、水、口，缺一不可。從離至井，勞民勸相：井以木上有水為象，汲取之道在於正序。頭尾顛倒則如倒汲之井，愈用力愈混亂。火之明照入井而見底部之亂，然照見不等於修復。國君失序如井失其道，民無所汲，國遂亡。
