Turmoil blocks the road; the people are distressed and suffering. Gazing at the sheep, setting them among the flock; the eldest son stands at the gate.

注释
明兩作離，火入隨風巽之象。交亂當道——紛亂阻塞道路。民困愁苦——百姓困窘愁苦。望羊置群——遠望散亂之羊群而重新安置。長子在門——長子立於門口。詩寫亂後之初復：道路阻塞、民困愁苦為亂象，然望羊置群為收拾殘局之始，長子守門為正統秩序之重立。從離至巽，隨風，申命行事：巽風之力在於反覆滲透，非一擊制勝。火之明入巽風之柔，以緩進之法收拾散亂。不急於一時，如牧人耐心聚攏散羊，秩序自漸復。
