第三爻
九三 係遯。有疾厲。畜臣妾吉。

焦氏易林
老耄罷極，無取中直，懸輿致仕，得歸鄉里。
Old and exhausted, spent to the limit; no strength left for uprightness. He suspends his carriage and retires from office; finding his way home to his native village.

注释
天下有山，遯之象。老耄罷極——年邁力衰至極。無取中直——已無法秉持公正。懸輿致仕——掛起官車，辭官歸隱。得歸鄉里——終得返回故土。「懸輿致仕」為古代官員退休之雅稱。從遯至履（上天下澤），退避之道化為行止有節之禮。履者，辨上下、定民志，一步一驚心。老臣知退，正是履之精義：明白自身力竭而適時退出，不令衰弱之軀累及國政。退而有禮，行止得宜，遯與履之變化於此合一。
