風自火出，家人西行求玉，冀得隋璞——此指傳說中至寶隋侯之珠。然反見凶惡——所遇非寶而是禍。使我驚惑——令人驚恐困惑。隋珠之典出自傳說：隋侯救傷蛇，蛇銜明珠以報。期望至寶而遇凶惡，為傳說之殘酷反轉。從家人至姤，天下有風，不期之遇。姤卦警示陰柔之力不請自來；本求珍寶之旅人，反遇邪祟。非每次相遇皆為幸運，非每次西行皆能得玉。
