注释
上火下澤，睽之天象不祥。天戶東墟——天門在東方開啟，凶兆顯現，盡既為災，災禍全面降臨。跰𨂡黯聾——肢體殘損、耳目昏聵，秦伯受殃——秦國之君蒙受災殃。此或指秦穆公崤之戰（前627年）之敗：穆公不聽蹇叔之勸，強遣大軍遠征，遭晉伏擊於崤山，全軍覆沒。驕愎拒諫而自招其禍。從睽至損（山下有澤），君子以懲忿窒欲：未受節制之野心須先損之而後可。損之道在於主動裁抑——忿怒與欲望若不及時削減，終將令主事者身殘神傷。
