One mouth with three tongues, mutually hindering and without benefit. A hundred rams in the flock, yet they do not make for strength. Horses and colts are lost; the household's wealth is consumed.

山上有水，蹇之象。一口三舌——一張嘴三條舌頭，言語矛盾、互相妨害。相妨無益——彼此牽制毫無助益。群羊百䍧——羊群雖眾，公羊雖多。不為威強——卻不構成威勢。亡馬失駒——馬匹走失。家耗於財——家產消散。數量而無品質之意象堆疊：舌多而無統一之聲、羊多而無真正之力、獸多而流失不止。無方向之統一，數量無法克服阻滯。從蹇至未濟，火在水上，慎辨物居方。未濟為永恆的「差一步」：一切俱備而無一到位。三舌之口、散亂之群、走失之馬——皆為此令人焦灼之未完成態：資源充沛而決定性之一步永在咫尺之外。
